Look into your own eyes

Interview

Look into your own eyes

To err is human. Even more human is to look into your own eyes. To cease the possessive chase for success. Because what is success for, if on the way to it you’ve lost the goodness within yourself.

It’s necessary to get to know oneself, become self-aware, mature, ask oneself “who am I” and “who do I want to be,” to understand it is not money that defines us, social status, education, or job… Despite the flood of “modern” life values, it is our actions that will always define us.

Where heroes come from

All successful, brave, and characterful individuals should take responsibility and influence a change in consciousness in their environment. I deeply believe that, despite everything, there are still many people in these areas with integrity; people who are noble, honorable, and sincere, and that there are many well-raised, intelligent, and good children. Many crave genuine values. The world is lacking new heroes like those moral and intellectual giants from our childhood.

Respect is lacking. Mutual respect. Self-respect.

Character breeds character

It is necessary for our children, young people, future leaders, to illuminate the path with the veracity that success can only be achieved with sincerity and transparency, the strength of integrity, and the alignment of words and deeds. This road is indeed more challenging, but it is also more solid and long-lasting.

We should cherish the idea of leadership; we must know who we are adhere to it without fear in different circumstances. It is necessary to explain the importance of valuing truth, taking responsibility, defending one’s position with arguments, questioning one’s own and others’ opinions.

We must know how important it is to play fair, have the courage to admit mistakes, fall and rise again… And why it is important to have passion in work, belief in one’s own ideas, love for people, empathy, support, selflessness in sharing experience and knowledge, common sense, alertness, insight, perseverance, tolerance and determination.
